West Chester’s Best Restaurants Poll

West Chester provides its community with a well kept downtown full of charm and history. Although located just west of Philadelphia, West Chester borough is able to satisfy its community without any worries of losing customers to the bigger city near by. The restaurants located in the borough have a great hold on the area. During a recent poll conducted up and down Gay Street and High Street, people seem to rave about a few restaurants in particular.

The Social Lounge, Rams Head Bar & Grill, and Vudu Lounge were the three most talked about places to eat within West Chester. The reoccurring theme for the high reviews of each restaurant was the “nice atmosphere” and obviously the “great food”.

“Social” as the locals refer to it, can be found on East Gay St, and is open 7 days a week. “The loaded nachos are our favorite thing to order!” exclaims Angie Cuturic, as her friends Laura Kopaczewski, Jessica Cummings, and Veronica Lane agree.

Rams Head is located on East Market Street and is open daily. Mike Martin chose Rams Head as his top spot to grab a bite. “The ‘Don’t Judge Me Burger’ is my favorite thing to get” Martin remarks with a smile.

The Vudu Lounge or otherwise known as The High Street Cafe is positioned on High St. and is open daily, however with very specific hours. “The atmosphere can be dark, relaxing, and quiet but then again it can also be boisterous” says Sean Glaum when questioned why Vudu Lounge was his pick. As far as the menu, when Kevin Mash was asked what his favorite entree was, he responded “The cheese steak; I have dreams about it.”

Next time you’re feeling courageous to try something new, consider these three restaurants. Social, Rams Head, and Vudu Lounge all had very reaffirming reviews!
